nomadic artist - coach - Mom - Dreamer - latte lover

Hi! I'm Henriette

Hi, I’m Henriette – artist, mother, traveler, and shameless latte addict. These days I create while traveling the world full-time with my family. My “studio” is wherever we land: one month a beach café in Bali, the next a tiny Airbnb in Bangkok. Life on the move keeps me inspired (and yes, occasionally exhausted).

Because your walls deserve more than pretty.

Art That Vibes

Forget “does it match the couch?” — my art has bigger goals. It’s made to vibe with you. To remind you of your boldness, your dreams, that playful inner child, and the intuition that always knows the way. My art isn’t just meant to look pretty — it’s designed to lift you, ground you, and give your space a voice.

I weave into my work the themes that shape my own life: inner child healing, self-respect, freedom, and the guts to live on intuition instead of expectation.

Sure, it brightens up a room — but it also whispers “trust yourself” when you need it, shouts “go for it” when you hesitate, and celebrates all the messy, magical, unapologetic parts of who you are.

And that’s also what I hope my work brings into your home:
✨ A daily reminder to trust yourself.
✨ A spark of courage to chase your dreams.
✨ A splash of color and boldness that makes your walls — and you — come alive.

This isn’t just wall candy. It’s daily soul fuel — wrapped in neon, pastels, and a whole lot of guts.

Spoiler: it wasn’t a straight line.

How I Got Here

I always knew I wanted to be an artist — but for a long time I thought: that’s impossible, nobody actually makes a living with art. So I took the “safe” creative route: first Visual Merchandising & Styling at CIBAP in Zwolle, then a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fashion Design at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.

For years, I styled for big brands, making their visions look amazing. But meanwhile my own ideas were getting louder (and cheekier). About ten years ago I finally stopped ignoring them, ripped off the safe label, and jumped headfirst into my own work.

Messy? Yes.
Scary? Absolutely.
Worth it? Every. Single. Second.

Since then, my art has traveled far beyond my own studio walls. I’ve had the joy of collaborating with Target, Walmart, Urban Outfitters, Ixxi, Werk aan de Muur, Bed Bath & Beyond, TJMaxx, Fy!– and plenty more along the way. Knowing that pieces of me are hanging in homes all over the world still feels a little surreal — and very special.

Because artists deserve more than “starving.”

Coaching & Programs

Through my own journey I’ve learned just how tricky it can be to build a real income as an artist. For a long time, I believed the old myth: you can either make art, or you can make money — but not both. Spoiler: that’s a lie.

Today there are more opportunities than ever for creatives to thrive. I’ve seen it in my own business — from automating my print sales to running a location-free studio while traveling full-time. And I know if it’s possible for me, it’s possible for other artists too.

That’s why I started coaching and creating online programs. To share the tools, strategies, and confidence that helped me grow, so others can do the same.

Because I believe every artist should get to:
🎨 Create work that feels real and true.
💡 Build a business that actually supports them.
🌍 Shape a life that’s 100% on their own terms.

Not starving. Not selling out. Just creating, thriving, and daring to take up space.

Sorry international friends – My programs are in Dutch (for now).
